Information
Booking of Hunts
Hunts are confirmed on payment of 50% of
basic hunt costs. Balance of the basic hunt
costs is payable at least 60 days prior to
commencement of the safari. Please note
clients will only be charged for animals
shot or wounded. All prices are quoted in
US dollars and are subject to change.
In
the event of a cancellation or postponement
less than 6 months prior to the commencement
of the safari, the deposit is liable for
forfeiture at the discretion of the
company. Likewise, if a client cancels a
safari less than 60 days prior to the
commencement date, he will forfeit all
payments made.
Food and Drink
Food in camp is of the highest quality and
special tastes can be catered to on
request. Camps are rustic but comfortable
with hot and cold showers.
Insurance and Liability
We advise that you take out full insurance
coverage for yourself and your property.
While we take every possible care we cannot
be held responsible for any accident,
injury, illness or any loss of property you
may incur on your safari.
Climate
The conditions are generally warm to hot &
dry in the day with cool to cold evenings in
May – Sept. Hotter in Oct. – April.
Firearms and Ammunition
A 7mm or .300 Magnum is recommended for
plains game and for larger dangerous game a
.375 Magnum or larger caliber is required.
Bring a shotgun if you wish to take out a
bird license. Maximum allowance is 150
rounds per rifle of each caliber and 200
rounds for shotgun. When booking the safari
please advise us of the rifle
manufacturers name, caliber, serial number
and amount of ammo.

Customs might charge duty on ammo.
Health Regulations
Malaria prophylactics should be taken at
least two weeks before arrival into Zambia.
Your doctor should be consulted as to what
immunization shots are currently necessary.
Trophies
Experienced skinners are provided and good
care will be taken in the field preparation
of your trophies. On termination of your
safari the trophies will be cleaned,
disinfected, crated and shipped, carriage
forward, to a destination of your choice.
Travel
Zambia is easily reached by air from all
over the world. The main airlines serving
Zambia are South African Airways and British
Airways via Johannesburg with Nationwide
into Livingstone.
