is why we have two lodges available for you. Both are
equipped with the maximum amenities to make you feel at
home and enjoy what the experience is all about.
About the birds
About 15
million birds fly into Bolivia from mid
April
to the end of November attracted by the sweet aroma of
the crops in
Santa Cruz. Vast plantations of sorghum,
soybean and sunflower are grown making this a very
special place for these
birds to stay on for the whole
season. Among these
birds we find mostly doves and pigeons.

During your Hunting
Adventure we would like to make sure that you can relax
and enjoy your hunting with nothing to worry about. All
our hunt packages include the following items:

Single Rooms
Can be arranged depending on
availability.
Observers
Friends, family members and
others who join the group of Hunters but do no shooting
will be a rate of USD $250 per day enjoying the same
treatment as hunters.
Charter
Flights
Charters to and from the
lodge can be arranged at an extra charge of USD
$150 per person. Driving is picturesque and only 3 hours
in comfortable 4 wheel drive vehicles.
Travel
American
Airlines or Lloyd Aereo Boliviano (LAB) direct from
Miami to Santa Cruz. Usually always have specials with
LAB airlines.

Ammunition
We offer top quality
shells in 12 and 20 gauges at USD $8.50 per box of 25.
All ammunition used on the hunt should be paid at the
end in cash or travellers checks.
Health
We suggest insect repellents
for early mornings and evenings. In case of emergency
situations there will always be a cellular phone
available and a plane on stand by.
Clothing
We recommend wearing loose
cotton khaki colour clothes. Long pants and sleeves are
best to prevent sunburn. A light rain jacket is useful
for those rare but possible cold fronts or rainy days.
Climate
Day time temperatures range
from 40 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit with very low humidity.
Rain is rare in this semi tropical Chaco region.
Documents Required
Visas are not required for entry into
Bolivia by USA, Canadian and residents of most Western
European countries. Check with your Bolivian Consulate
or www.travel.state.gov/bolivia.html.
A permit is required for
hunting in Bolivia which is included in the price of
the package. In
order to get your Hunting Permit we need to get the
following information 30 days before your arrival to
Bolivia: Full name of Hunter, Passport Number and Gun
details (if the hunter brings his own gun) Make, Model,
Calibre and Serial Number plus Country where made.
Reservations
It is necessary to confirm
your trip at least 60 days before arrival with a
deposit of USD $500 for each hunter.
The rest
should be paid at least 30 days before arrival into
Bolivia.
Deposit and Cancellation Policies
Reservations can be
cancelled and deposits returned if customers give us a
minimum of 45 days notice before arrival into Bolivia.
If a customer wishes to transfer this reservation to
another person, this should be done with a minimum of 30
days notice before your arrival.

Fishing
in Bolivia
One or two day packages are available within the Santa
Cruz area. Three to seven day packages are available in the Beni province
within the Amazon basin area. Fish for both Amazonian and lowland
fish like Peacock Bass, dorado, pacu, general,
surubi, piranha, cachorra, simicuyo, sardinon,
muturo and tambaqui.
